Nollywood actress Jemima Osunde has opened up about her health struggles after consuming contaminated food while working on a movie set in Ibadan.

She revealed that she contracted H. pylori, a bacterial infection that caused persistent stomach pain, and later developed Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD), which is marked by chronic acid reflux and has severely affected her health.

Her experience highlights a concerning issue within the entertainment industry food safety on set and the risks actors face during production.

Reflecting on the ordeal, Osunde expressed regret for accepting the job, stating, “I have never regretted anything the way I regret taking that job and going to Ibadan to shoot under their care. God, please help me heal my stomach this year; I am begging you.”

She further shared, “I got H. pylori from the set food, and the aftermath of GERD has left me fighting for my life over the past three years.”
