Social media influencer and businessman Pascal Okechukwu, widely known as Cubana Chief Priest, has vowed to secure the release of musician Speed Darlington, who has been in police detention for nearly two months.

His pledge came amidst fresh jabs directed at Afrofusion superstar Burna Boy.

Speed Darlington, also known as Akpi, was arrested by the Imo State Police Command in November 2024 upon his return from the United States.

Reports indicate that his detention stems from jumping bail in an ongoing case involving Burna Boy.

The controversy began when Speed Darlington allegedly defamed and cyberstalked Burna Boy through social media posts.

He claimed that the singer’s relationship with music mogul Diddy played a pivotal role in his Grammy win in 2021.

In a spirited Instagram post on Monday, Cubana Chief Priest expressed his commitment to Speed Darlington’s cause, writing: “Tomorrow we come for Akpi Nwamama…Monday is now here. Make we now show power.”

The businessman’s declaration has sparked fresh attention to the legal tussle, with fans eagerly awaiting updates on Speed Darlington’s situation.
