Lagos-based musician Mukaila Senwele, originally from Ilorin, has passed away.
He died on Friday night, according to a family source cited by Royal News.
Senwele, who hailed from the Ilorin West Local Government Area of Kwara State, was well-known for his exceptional performances and unique musical style, which earned him admiration from many fans and socialites alike.
A family member revealed that there were no prior signs of illness before his sudden death.
“He showed no symptoms of sickness. He spent the day with his fans and had even promised to visit the family house (Ile Esinrogunjo) later that evening,” the source explained.
Sadly, the family was later alerted to his condition while he was still with fans.
The musician was initially rushed to Kwara State University Teaching Hospital (KWSUTH), before being transferred to Balogun Hospital in Eruda, where he passed away.
Mukaila Senwele was known for his popular catchphrase, “Koni Da Fun Ebo To Se Costay.” He was buried on Saturday morning.
