Ezekiel Onyedikachukwu, former manager of gospel artist Mercy Chinwo, has penned a detailed post accusing her of “greed and betrayal beyond comprehension.”

Onyedikachukwu, who is also the head of EeZee Conceptz Global—the label that propelled Mercy Chinwo into gospel music stardom—expressed his dismay on social media.

The post follows a recent legal development where a Federal High Court in Lagos issued an arrest warrant for Onyedikachukwu.

The court action was prompted by a motion filed by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), accusing him of diverting $345,000 from Mercy Chinwo’s earnings without remitting her share.

In his response, Onyedikachukwu stated: “This greed and betrayal that persists are beyond comprehension. Kindly share your bank statements and the songs you recorded three years before and three years after being signed. You are now attempting to claim ownership of a catalogue I fully funded—a body of work you never financially contributed to.”

Onyedikachukwu reminded Mercy Chinwo of the role he played in her rise, saying, “I founded the label that built your platform, provided for you, and gave you opportunities beyond your wildest dreams. Through God’s grace, I did this, and no one can erase the role EeZee Concept played in establishing your influence.”

He concluded with a biblical reference, quoting Proverbs 17:13: “Whoever repays good with evil, evil will never depart from their house.”

Onyedikachukwu also addressed the ongoing dispute regarding royalties, contracts, and finances, stating: “$625,000—that’s how much you’ve received from EeZee Concept to date. But you continue to hide this, deceiving the public and claiming you signed a bad contract or were mistreated.”

He further alleged that despite being offered a 50/50 earnings split, Mercy Chinwo has resorted to using law enforcement and religious organizations to take over a catalogue she didn’t financially contribute to.

In his post, he also recalled housing Mercy Chinwo and her band leader for months, and securing accommodations for them.

Onyedikachukwu mentioned a breach of contract where she failed to deliver a third album and withheld funds from the label.

Despite these issues, he claimed he reached out to her for reconciliation and even proposed an independent audit for transparency.

Onyedikachukwu also recalled being illegally detained by the EFCC for nine days and extorted for $274,000, but chose not to publicly attack Mercy Chinwo.

He expressed his commitment to following the legal processes outlined in their contract, asking why she had avoided the Multidoor resolution process agreed upon and why she had manipulated institutions against him.

“Why quote the contract when it benefits you but deny it when it speaks to your obligations?” he asked, questioning her actions. “You’ve hugely benefited from this same document, yet now discredit it.”
