As Governor Ademola Adeleke is prepared to host maiden creative conference in Osun State, various experienced speakers have been scheduled to educate youths on creative economy.
Wife of the Ooni of Ife, Queen Ronke Ademiluyi-Ogunwusi, an entrepreneur, would lead the likes of Bayo Omoboriowo, (Guiness Record Holder), Nike Adeleke, a lifestyle blogger and Prince Adewale Laoye among others to have conversations with the youths selected for the event.
A statement issued by the Special Adviser to Governor Ademola Adeleke on Sustainable Development Goals, SDG, Bamikole Omishore, disclosed that the conference is schedule to from January 28th to 30th at the SDG Skill Acquisition Centre in Iragbiji, Osun State.
Themed, “Innovate, Create, and Transform: Unlocking the Creative Economy for Sustainable Development,” the event will highlight the significant role of creativity in driving economic growth and achieving sustainable development.
“The conference will feature a series of engaging sessions, exhibitions, and cultural showcases designed to inspire and empower participants. The three days event would be rounded up with tours to heritage sites, including, Osun Osogbo Grove, Dotun Popoola museum, Adire Oodu hub among others”, said Omishore.
Both the Chairman House Committee on ICT and SDG, as well as Special Adviser to the Governor on Innovation Science and Technology, Hon. Adewumi Adeyemi, and Hon. Azeez Badmus, agreed that the conference underscores the importance the present administration attached to creative sector in the state.
