With the very obvious and inconclusive divisions in the People’s Democratic Party at the National level, where there seems to be no sign of a near solution for the party. This has resulted in what is being witnessed within the PDP structures in every state, and has invariably caused them to consistently navigate blindly.

No wonder, it is said that a House divided against itself cannot stand. This was what brought about the failures of the PDP, in the Off Circle Governorship Election that took place lately in Ondo State, where Governor Lucky Ayedatiwa, of the Ondo State APC, was re-elected as Governor. And worse off, where an incumbent Governor in Edo State, Former Governor Godwin Obaseki’s desired candidate of the PDP, was shamefully defeated.

Even though in the midst of the very glaring defeats of PDP in these States, they usually use the excuse of being cheated or being robbed, of what they never possessed.

The truth is that the party has established a failed central structure, that cannot put its house to order. Hence, they will continue to fail and lose on all sides.

Since the “Foundation of PDP” is now seen to be destroyed, what else should be expected to have happened during the last Off Circle Governorship Election in Edo State, and also in Ondo State. Obviously the crumbling defeat of the PDP was inevitable.

These had been the basis of the confident statement by the APC National Chairman, Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, after the landslide victory of the APC in the Ondo State Off Circle Governorship Election. Where he said that APC’s Target After Ondo Election Victory Is To Dislodge PDP From Oyo, Osun; And Then Take Over Southwest Nigeria. This statement did not need a soothsayer to unravel, for every one to know that he had spoken the very glaring obvious fact. I then began to wonder why the Osun State PDP and other remnant elements in the party were crying over spilled milk.

No one needs to be told that Governor Ademola Adeleke, of Osun State had fashioned his style of governance, like that of the former President of Uganda, Idi Amin Dada Oumee. For Governor Ademola Adeleke, he could be classified as a Democratic Dictator, who dictates behind the blinds, but appears in the fore, with a script “like” that of a democrat.

Even though Governor Ademola Adeleke was elected through a democratic means, his kind of governance has totally fallen short of true democracy. He displays a government of His Dynasty, For His Dynasty, and By His Dynasty.

He has turned the governance of Osun State to a seemingly family affair. Where his dynasty are the Alpha and Omega of every decision within Osun State. The entire Osun State PDP Structure and beyond sucks up to greedy and self-centred decisions made by his Dynasty. That is why he, the Governor Ademola Adeleke, could decide to personalize some State owned Agencies for his selfish interest. One of which is, replacing the Laudable (O-YES) Osun Youth Empowerment Scheme, with his personal undemocratic Youth Army, that he seems to be building, probably for some selfish interest. Which is called (IYC) Imole Youth Corp. Why use state funds to promote “Imole this” and “Imole that” ?

Even the majority of the seeming PDP party faithfuls had been suffering, yet directed to smile in the public. If truth be told, they themselves cannot point to any sincerely worthy achievements that is for the common good of the state. In their private, they cannot truly commend their already failing Governor. What a pity, they are certainly between a Rock and a Hard Place.

Governor Ademola Adeleke, had chosen very irrelevant projects, as most of them are ill-planned, ill-timed and heavily padded. With no recourse to proper Planning and Due Process.

For instance, what is the essence of scrapping the Lameco Junction Roundabout in Osogbo and replacing it with the construction a bridge worth N8, 521,632,257.28. When the volume of vehicular traffic within that intersection does not demand the consideration of a bridge.

Worst off, the bridge that the Governor of Osun decided to construct within Ile-Ife, where he chose to destroy properties of community members who are seen to be managing, and also keeping them in an inhabitable condition, over other more beneficial and sustainable projects. It goes without any gainsay, that this is a very ill-planned project for the Ile-Ife Community, who do not need such a project in a time as now. Because the vehicular movement within that location where the bridge is being constructed, does not in any way require any bridge at all. This is just wastefulness by a government that does not understand what “Scale of Preference” in governance is about.

As if that is not enough, the government of Ademola Adeleke has displayed Nepotism at its highest. Where Projects and Appointments are seen to be majorly for the Ede Community, and the Adeleke’s Dynasty and in extension, the Ede people.

This is the best time for the Osun PDP to start parking their luggages from Osun State, and it is also a time for the sensible remains within the Osun PDP to start crossing to the sure and most stable Osun APC, that has a well established structure, and are on a definite and well planned winning course for future elections through free and fair elections.

Especially in the coming, the Osun State Governorship Off Circle Election (2026); the Ekiti State Governorship Off Circle Election (2026); and the Oyo State Governorship Election (2027). Which will then reaffirm the words of the APC National Chairman, Abdullahi Umar Ganduje.

No matter how much they try to hide it, things has unarguably Fallen Apart in the Osun State PDP, and we advise all those suffering and secretly crying, yet publicly forced to smile, within the party, that you should all swallow your prides, and rush for Liberation in the Osun State APC.

APC has come to Liberate Osun State and the people of Osun as well.
