Paul Enenche, Senior Pastor of Dunamis International Gospel Centre in Abuja, has called on governments at all levels to provide hope and guidance to the people, stressing that true development cannot take place in an environment of despair.
He made this remark during a media interaction at the Dominion Wing of Murtala Muhammed International Airport on Thursday.
While in the state for a two-day crusade, Pastor Enenche emphasized that real development starts with a shift in mindset and strengthening the faith of the people.
He explained, “When the people’s mindset changes, the land itself changes. People shape the land. If they are demotivated, depressed, or uninspired, with slow progress and widespread apathy, we cannot expect substantial development.
“But when hope is given, when light is shown, when direction is provided, and faith in God is revived, everything becomes possible. By doing our part and trusting God to do His, transformation can happen. This is the path forward.”
The pastor also shared that one of the goals of the Lagos crusade, which took place at the National Stadium between Thursday and Friday, was to strengthen the faith of the people and offer humanitarian support.
He added, “We are conducting medical outreaches, providing medical treatments, and have welfare programs in place, alongside spiritual guidance.”
Pastor Enenche, who hosted the 2025 national conference of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, expressed optimism about the future of the Christian community.
“The theme of the conference was ‘the rebirth of a nation,’ and the discussions focused on the potential of the mission and its outcomes. I believe the church now has a clear blueprint for action. With active participation, rather than apathy, we expect to see great results,” he concluded.
