Actress Regina Daniels has deactivated her Instagram account following rumors that her husband, Ned Nwoko, has fathered a child with fellow actress Chika Ike. Vanguard can confirm that Regina’s profile has disappeared from the platform.
This move comes shortly after Regina’s return from London, where she attended the premiere of Ayo Makun’s film “The Waiter.”
The speculation about tension in Regina’s marriage escalated when she opted not to publicly acknowledge her husband on Valentine’s Day.
Additionally, she has not commented on his recent defection from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
On February 10, Chika Ike revealed that she was expecting her first child, posting photos of her baby bump on Instagram.
Social media users have since voiced their opinions, with some suggesting that Regina should not be shocked by the situation. One commenter remarked, “But why is Regina surprised? She knew what she was getting into.” Another added, “How can wife number six be upset about wife number seven, when wife number five didn’t react?”
Ned Nwoko, a Muslim, is allowed to marry multiple wives, and it’s rumored that he has six. Regina and Laila Charani, a Moroccan, are the only wives publicly known.
