The controversial singer, Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable has reached out to Fuji musician Pasuma to sponsor his trip to Mecca for Hajj.
Portable’s request comes after securing a N2 million bail following his arraignment on Thursday at an Abeokuta magistrate court on a five-count charge, including assault.
Portable had before surrendered himself to the police a day after being declared wanted for allegedly assaulting Ogun officials. After meeting the bail terns and conditions, the case was adjourned until March 5 for trial.
In a post via his Instastory, Portable shared a chat with Pasuma, requesting sponsorship for his Hajj trip.
The Fuji icon responded positively, asking how he could assist. Portable explained that he wants to perform Hajj to “thank God”.
“Oga mi, pls carry me go Mecca. I want go thank God,” the chat reads, although it was not revealed if Pasuma responded or not.
