Controversial actor Adams Kehinde, popularly known as Lege Miami, has issued a firm warning to social media critic Verydarkman, advising him not to make disrespectful comments about Seyi Tinubu, son of President Bola Tinubu.
Lege, who considers Seyi a close friend, emphasized that he would always defend him. “Anyone who comes for Seyi Tinubu, I will come for them,” he stated. He added that until now, he had no issues with Verydarkman, seeing him as someone chasing fame in his own way.
“I’ve never had any issue with him. I saw him as someone doing his thing while I focused on mine. If that’s his way of gaining popularity, fine. I didn’t interfere when Cubana Chiefpriest and Victor Osimhen took him to Davido’s party,” Lege said. “I don’t even like him, and I never followed him.”
Lege explained that his response was triggered by Verydarkman’s recent comments about the president.
“I noticed that people in the industry support him, and I saw that Seyi Tinubu likes me because I’ve always believed in his father’s government. That’s why I stand with him.”
He further pointed out that while people have the right to express themselves about the president, once Seyi was targeted, it crossed a line.
“You can’t just talk about my friend’s father, the President of Nigeria, anyhow. If you have a message, express it respectfully,” Lege said.
Lege also emphasized that Seyi is not in government but is simply a businessman supporting his father. “Why call him out like that?” Lege questioned.
“If you have anything to say, say it without insulting Mr. President, my friend’s father. Even if you don’t insult Seyi directly, insulting his father means you’re disrespecting him.”
The issue was resolved after Verydarkman joined Lege’s live matchmaking show at 3 a.m. on Wednesday.
“He said he wasn’t there to fight but came in peace. He even gave money to some of the girls on the show. I realized he wanted peace, so I let it go,” Lege added. Verydarkman also sent five hundred thousand naira to a girl on the show.
