The Nasrul-Lahi-L-Fatih Society (NASFAT) Osun Zone has officially unveiled the details of its highly anticipated 2025 Lailatul-Qadr programme, scheduled to take place on Friday, March 28, 2025, at Ayedaade Grammar School, Ikire, from 10 PM till dawn.

 

In a statement, the Zonal Chairman, Alhaji Engr. Olaniyi Yisa Gbadebo, invited Muslims from across the state and beyond to attend this spiritually uplifting night, emphasizing its significance as a time for deep supplication, worship, and divine blessings.

 

A highlight of the night will be a special lecture by Shaykh Maruf Olawale Isola (Ph.D.), the Naibul-Imam of Osogbo and Chairman of the Osun State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board, who will shed light on the importance of Lailatul-Qadr in the lives of believers.

 

The event will be hosted by Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji, with Alhaji AbdulGaniyu Oladimeji Oyeladun as Co-Host. Dignitaries expected to attend include Alhaji Arimiyahu Akinromade (Chairman of the Day) and Alhaja Wumi Adelekan (Chairperson of the Day), widely known as Eni Olohun Mo.

 

The Special Guest of Honour will be Alhaji Senator Kamardeen Lere Oyewumi, the Deputy Minority Leader of the Nigerian Senate, who will join other distinguished guests in prayers and reflection. Also in attendance will be revered traditional rulers, including Oba Olatunde Falabi (Lambeloye III), the Akire of Ikireland, alongside the Alapomu of Apomu and the Olukoyi of Ikoyi.

 

Leading the night’s spiritual engagements will be Dr. K.K. Busari, the NASFAT Osun Zone Missioner, alongside other missioners, while the Chief Imam of Ikireland, Alhaji Muslim Oladimeji Oladiran, will serve as the Spiritual Father of the Day.

 

Lailatul-Qadr, known as the “Night of Majesty”, holds immense significance in Islam, being a night of blessings worth more than a thousand months. NASFAT Osun Zone assures attendees of a night filled with spiritual connection and divine mercy, as a large congregation of worshippers is expected to gather from across the state and beyond.
