
The outgoing Chairman of the Osun State Aluminium Manufacturing Association (OSAMA), Osogbo zone, Mr. Yussuf Tajudeen has listed his achievements during his tenure.
Yusuff also sent his heartfelt appreciation to all members of the association for their support and understanding while he paddle the canoe of Osama.
The outgoing Chairman said this on Thursday in Osogbo while speaking with journalist as part of events marking the end of his tenure.
Speaking on his achievements , Yusuf mentioned the numerous feats his tenure was able to accomplished in four years. He said his administration was able to see through the association business of importing glasses and accessories from Edo and Lagos state, which according to him, has yielded more profits for both the association and its members.
“We are able to purchase the association meeting hall, which has been a thing of discuss since the last administration. We ventured into other business like buying and reselling of land that generated additional funds for our association”.
Yussuf added that his administration secured working relationships with heads of security agencies and “this has helped our members who have suffered from stealing.”
Highlighting the challenges, Yusuf made it known that the main challenge faced by his tenure was the rampant stealing of the members belongings and this was tackled by combined efforts of the police and the leadership of the association.
” I use this medium to appreciate the elders and members of our association for their support during my four years tenure. I also appreciate the taskforce for their unwavering dedication in carrying out their duties. My appreciation also goes to every unit heads and the chairman of cooperative, Mr. Abimbola Musab”.
The association will herald a new set of leadership next Thursday and Yusuf urged members of the association to support the incoming leadership.
