Pastor Ituah Ighodalo, the senior pastor of Trinity House, has addressed the rumors surrounding his alleged plans to marry Nollywood actress Kate Henshaw.
Speculation regarding his remarriage had been circulating on social media, with claims that preparations for a wedding were already underway, including the selection of Aso Ebi.
In a recent interview with media personality Osayuwamen Saleh on UpgradeTV, which gained significant attention over the weekend, Pastor Ighodalo firmly dismissed the rumors.
He stated that he was unaware of any such wedding plans, joking that those spreading the rumors were likely profiting from them.
“I loved my wife so much. I take each day as it comes. I don’t know what the future holds. As for the Aso Ebi, not to the best of my knowledge. The issue with social media is that people feel they can say anything they want,” he remarked. “Whoever is spreading this rumor is making money from it. After they are done, they should come and pay their tithe.”
While Pastor Ituah left open the possibility of remarriage in the future, he emphasized that his late wife’s spirit continues to be with him, and he deeply cherished their time together.
The late Ibidunni Ighodalo, Pastor Ituah’s wife, passed away in June 2020. She was a former beauty queen and successful event planner. The couple had adopted two children, a son and a daughter, before her untimely passing. Since her death, Pastor Ituah has dedicated himself to raising his children and focusing on his ministry.
In a 2023 interview, he shared that while he was open to remarriage in the future, he is not in a hurry, prioritizing the well-being of his children. His daughter, he revealed, has strongly advised against remarriage.
“It is not impossible that I would remarry, but if I had my way, I am content. I am happy, and my life is not complicated. I am taking care of my children, and I am doing well. I might consider remarriage when my children are older, but my daughter has already warned me not to remarry!” Pastor Ituah shared.
