The daughter of prominent Nigerian pastor and founder of Living Faith Church Worldwide, Bishop David Oyedepo, Love Ogah has shared a chilling story about an attempted assassination on her father during her secondary school years.
Speaking during a recent sermon, Ogah recounted the terrifying incident when a group of armed men stormed their family home with the clear intent to kill Bishop Oyedepo.
According to her, the intruders declared their deadly mission upon arrival and thoroughly searched the house, going from room to room in search of the revered preacher. Despite their efforts, they were unable to find him.
“The assassins came and said they were there to kill my father,” she said. “They searched everywhere but couldn’t find him.”
In a surprising twist, Ogah revealed that her father later told the family he had been present the entire time, watching the intruders as they searched—yet they couldn’t see him.
“He came out after they left and said he saw everything,” she added. “They just couldn’t see him. We were all in shock—it felt like something out of a movie.”
Bishop Oyedepo reportedly attributed the failed attempt to divine intervention, describing it as a supernatural act of protection.
