Chelsea have officially named DAMAC Properties as their front-of-shirt sponsor for the remainder of the 2024–25 season, in a short-term agreement that will cover a handful of high-profile fixtures.

The Dubai-based luxury real estate firm will have its branding displayed on the men’s first-team jerseys during Chelsea’s final four Premier League matches, as well as the UEFA Europa Conference League semi-final against Swedish side Djurgarden. If Chelsea progress to the final, DAMAC’s logo will also feature in that additional fixture.

The new kit will debut this Thursday, when Enzo Maresca’s squad face Djurgarden away in the first leg of the semi-final. However, the deal does not include Chelsea’s participation in the upcoming FIFA Club World Cup, set to take place in the United States from June 14 to July 13. The club is guaranteed at least three games in that tournament.

The partnership goes beyond kit sponsorship. DAMAC and Chelsea have also announced a major joint venture in Dubai—an exclusive £1 billion development project featuring Chelsea-branded residences. Designed to fuse luxury living with the club’s football heritage, the project aligns with Chelsea’s efforts to expand its global brand presence and DAMAC’s upscale property portfolio.

This marks the second consecutive season in which Chelsea have operated without a full-season shirt sponsor, an unusual situation for a club of their global profile. While the DAMAC agreement ensures the team won’t finish the campaign without a visible commercial partner, the short-term nature of the deal reflects ongoing challenges in securing long-term sponsorship commitments.

Nevertheless, the club remains in active negotiations with potential partners for a more permanent sponsorship arrangement. A long-term deal, ideally commencing with the Club World Cup and continuing into the following seasons, is a key objective. Chelsea believe that qualifying for the UEFA Champions League next season would significantly boost their commercial attractiveness to sponsors, thanks to the increased global visibility and financial benefits.
