Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, has called on members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to prioritize the re-election of President Bola Tinubu in 2027, emphasizing that a second term is essential for the completion of his economic reform agenda.
Speaking on Channels Television’s Politics Today on Monday, Keyamo, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria, cautioned that it would be a setback for Nigeria if another administration were to abandon the ongoing fiscal and economic policies initiated by the Tinubu-led government.
“It would be tragic for any incoming government in 2027 to discontinue these reforms. We’ve seen it happen before, where inconsistent and half-formed policies disrupted progress,” he stated.
Keyamo urged party members to set aside personal interests and rally behind the President’s re-election, saying, “Every APC member should focus on ensuring President Bola Tinubu returns for a second term, regardless of individual ambitions, because he needs that time to complete the reforms he has started.”
