The family of iconic Juju musician, Sunday Adegeye, widely known as King Sunny Ade (KSA), has debunked rumors circulating about his alleged disappearance, assuring the public that he is “safe and sound.”
In a statement released on Tuesday, his son and manager, Dayo Adegeye, firmly refuted the claims, describing them as a “malicious” attempt to damage the legendary artist’s reputation.
“We want to assure the public that King Sunny Ade is safe and sound,” the statement read. “There is no truth to the kidnapping rumor, and we are taking appropriate steps to address the situation and identify those responsible for spreading this false information.”
Adegeye reiterated that the music legend, known globally as the “King of World Beats,” has not been abducted or harmed in any way.
“The Adegeye family and King Sunny Ade’s team are actively working to dispel the rumor and safeguard his legacy,” he added.
Fans and supporters have been encouraged to remain calm, as KSA remains in good health and continues to focus on his music and enduring legacy.
