Joy Mojisola Raimi, a 24-year-old from Osun State, has been crowned Miss World Nigeria 2025.
The announcement was made by Ben Murray-Bruce, the founder of Silverbird Group, via a post on X.com on Saturday.
The prestigious event took place at the Federal Palace Hotel in Victoria Island, Lagos, where 37 contestants vied for the coveted title.
Raimi, a University of Port Harcourt graduate, is passionate about humanitarian work and established ‘The Love for Humanity’ project, which aims to inspire kindness and rebuild faith in humanity.
During the finale, Raimi shared her powerful journey of overcoming adversity. Raised without a mother and subjected to relentless bullying by her caregiver, she faced many challenges.
Despite being told she would never succeed, she has triumphed and reached this remarkable achievement.
Raimi will now represent Nigeria at the 72nd Miss World pageant in Hyderabad, India, from May 7 to 31, where she will compete with contestants from over 140 countries.
