Daniel Bwala, the Special Adviser to the President on Policy Communication, has stated that Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s presidential candidate in the 2023 election, has yet to recover from his “painful defeat.”

In a post on his X page on Wednesday, Bwala criticized Obi’s recent remarks, asserting that they were devoid of factual evidence and logical reasoning.

Bwala’s comments come after Obi’s interview with Arise TV on Tuesday, where he made several sarcastic remarks about President Bola Tinubu’s administration.

Bwala remarked, “Listening to Peter Obi as he attempts to oppose the government was deeply troubling, as his comments lacked factual substance and logical coherence, almost like an empty noise.”

He further stated, “Obi is still reeling from the loss in the 2023 election. It’s clear he’s disoriented, lost in a world of fantasy, and trying to convince his followers that he’s gearing up for another run in 2027. Nigeria truly avoided a catastrophe.”
