The popular Afrobeats star Rema has emerged as the Nigeria’s most-streamed artist globally for the first quarter of 2025, this reinforced his growing dominance in the music industry along other stars like Burna Boy, Davido, Wizkid, and Ayra Starr.

In a data released by Debut Hub, Rema’s recent hit Calm Down, which featuring American singer Selena Gomez, gathered an impressive 223 million streams in first quarter of the year alone.

This achievement also contributed immensely to his career total of over 2.5 billion global streams.

In the second spot from is Burna Boy who amazed 171 million streams, while Ayra Starr followed closely in third place with 169 million streams.

In the forth place came in with 113 million streams, maintaining a narrow lead over Wizkid, who rounded out the top five with 102 million streams.
