The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kebbi State has suspended former House of Representatives member for Koko/Maiyama Federal Constituency, Muhammad Shehu Koko, along with nine other party officials in Koko Local Government Area.

Those affected by the suspension include Muhammad Danyado, APC Vice Chairman in Koko LGA; Biyaminu Muhammad, the Secretary; and Talatu Zauro, the Women Leader. Also suspended are the Youth Leader, Financial Secretary, Welfare Secretary, and several other officials.

According to a suspension letter obtained by Channels Television, the disciplinary action was prompted by allegations of anti-party conduct, disloyalty, and harassment of APC executive members.

The letter was signed by the APC Local Government Party Chairman, Muhammad Maibarga, the Local Government Executive Chairman, Sirajo Usman Koko, and 14 other party stakeholders from the area.

Meanwhile, associates of Muhammad Shehu Koko declined to comment officially but suggested the suspension might be tied to his alleged senatorial ambitions, which may have ruffled feathers within the state’s APC leadership.
