The Director General of the Ekiti State Office of Transformation and Service Delivery, Dr. John Ekundayo, has announced that the newly launched Strategic Pillar Monitoring System, known as the Ekiti Dashboard, is designed to improve efficiency through real-time monitoring of government projects and programmes.
Dr. Ekundayo, who also serves as Special Adviser to Governor Biodun Oyebanji, stated that the innovative tool will support informed decision-making and enhance project management across the state. Speaking with Insight Media on Saturday, he described the dashboard as a symbol of the government’s commitment to transparency, accountability, and result-oriented governance.
“This dashboard goes beyond being a monitoring tool, it reflects our dedication to using cutting-edge technology and data to transform project management in Ekiti State,” he said. “It allows for real-time tracking of progress, fosters transparency, and ensures better accountability.”
He emphasized that the system will promote effective collaboration and knowledge-sharing among ministries, departments, and agencies, enabling prompt access to project data critical for executive decisions.
“The Ekiti Dashboard will help ensure that government-awarded contracts are properly executed, delivered on schedule, and bring tangible value to the people,” Dr. Ekundayo noted, adding that it aligns with Governor Oyebanji’s vision of leveraging technology for good governance.
He urged stakeholders including members of the State Executive Council and accounting officers to support the onboarding process by helping MDAs upload their projects onto the dashboard.
During the official launch of the dashboard last month in Ado Ekiti, Governor Oyebanji described the platform as a key component of his administration’s pledge to uphold transparency, accountability, and excellence in public service.
