Nollywood actress Biola Adebayo has firmly denied allegations of domestic violence in her marriage to estranged husband, Seyi Akinrinde.
Addressing the rumors on Instagram, Adebayo clarified that there was never any instance of physical abuse in their relationship.
“Please note, we never I mean never had any issue of physical abuse or violence. Seyi has never laid a finger on me, and I never did as well,” she stated.
The couple, who welcomed a son together, officially separated in April 2024. Despite their breakup, Adebayo emphasized their continued commitment to co-parenting and maintaining mutual respect.
While expressing disappointment that the marriage ended, she underscored the importance of prioritizing emotional well-being. She also alluded to personal struggles behind the scenes.
“Let us learn to be kind to people. You have no idea what others are going through until they say it,” she shared.
Adebayo has previously opened up about her difficult journey to motherhood, which included multiple failed IVF cycles and surrogacy challenges before finally having her son in her 40s.
