A woman testifying under the pseudonym “Jane” is set to face cross-examination today in the ongoing sex trafficking trial of music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs at the Federal District Court in Manhattan.

Jane, who dated Combs from early 2021 until his arrest in September 2024, has spent the past three days detailing harrowing allegations of abuse, coercion, and drug-fueled sexual encounters that prosecutors argue constitute sex trafficking.

Defense attorneys, however, maintain the relationship was consensual and are expected to challenge her credibility in court today.

Allegations of Abuse and Coercion

Jane testified that what began as a romantic relationship devolved into violence and exploitation by mid-2024. She described a disturbing pattern: Combs allegedly orchestrated frequent, drug-induced sex parties involving male escorts, often against her will.

“I wanted a real relationship,” Jane told jurors. “But 90% of the time, it was hotel nights or sex parties where he watched while I was forced to sleep with other men.”

Jane recounted one particularly violent night in June 2024. An argument over another woman escalated into a physical confrontation in their home.

She said Combs slammed her into a marble countertop, put her in a chokehold, and beat her until she was left with visible bruises and a black eye.

“He told me to ice my face and put on lingerie and heels for a ‘hotel night,’” she said, fighting tears.

According to her testimony, Combs gave her ecstasy and demanded she have sex with another man he invited. When she protested, he reportedly said, “You’re not going to ruin my f***ing night,” and pressed her: “Then is this coercion?”

“I felt like I wasn’t even in my own body,” she said. “I did what he asked because I had no choice.”

Financial Control and Legal Threats

Jane also testified that Combs paid her rent and continues to cover her legal expenses. She described feeling “obligated” to comply with his demands for fear of losing financial support and housing.

She said that when R&B singer Cassie Ventura’s 2023 civil lawsuit against Combs went public—alleging similar abuse—she was shocked. “It was like reading my own trauma,” Jane told the court. “Word for word.”

Following Ventura’s lawsuit, Jane confronted Combs via text, and he allegedly retaliated by calling her a “con artist” and threatening to release explicit videos to the father of her child.

Jane testified that she met with Combs’s defense team before she ever spoke to prosecutors—out of a lingering sense of obligation. She was eventually subpoenaed to testify before a grand jury in November 2024 and began cooperating with federal investigators in January 2025.

Despite the detailed testimony, Jane said she has not filed a civil suit against Combs and has no intention of doing so. “I just pray for his continued healing,” she said. “And I pray for peace for him.”

What’s Next in the Trial

The defense will begin cross-examining Jane today. The trial, which began last week, is expected to continue for several more weeks. Combs, 55, faces life in prison if convicted on charges of racketeering and sex trafficking.
