The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has issued a public notice declaring two additional individuals wanted in connection with the large-scale fraud involving the now-defunct online trading platform, Crypto Bridge Exchange (CBEX).

 

The suspects, Folashade Odelana, 31, and Bamidele Ayodele Abiodun, 32, are accused of defrauding thousands of investors through CBEX. According to the EFCC, both individuals were last seen at No. 17, Oremeta Street, Allen, Ikeja, Lagos State.

 

In a statement released via the Commission’s official social media channels, the EFCC urged members of the public with any information regarding the suspects’ whereabouts to reach out to its offices in Ibadan, Enugu, Kano, Lagos, Gombe, Port Harcourt, or Abuja.

This announcement comes after the EFCC had previously declared 12 other suspects wanted in connection to the same fraudulent scheme.

 

The CBEX platform, which collapsed in April 2025, is believed to have defrauded more than 600,000 Nigerians, resulting in estimated losses of over ₦1.3 trillion.
