The Asiwaju and Aare Musulumi of Ilobuland, Chief Azeez Kolade, has charged the people of Ilobu, Ifon and Erin Osun to use the occasion of Eid Kabir celebration to pray for long lasting peace, progress and unity within the three communities.
Chief Kolade gave the charged in his Eid Kabir Celebration message personally signed and made availability to the InsightMedia in Osogbo the state Capital on Friday.
While extending heartfelt congratulations to His Royal Majesty Olobu of Ilobu Oba Ashiru Olatoye Olaniyan 11, Chief Imam of Ilobuland Sheikh AbdulAzeez AbdulRahamon, his counterparts from Ifon and Erin-Osun and Muslims across the globe on the occasion of Eid-El-Kabir.
In his Statement Chief Kolade expresses his joy and well-wishes for the Muslim community during this festive period.
“On behalf of my family and the people of Ilobu the headquarters of Irepodun local Government,Osun State I heartily rejoice with all Muslims as they celebrate Eid-El-Kabir,I wish all of you a peaceful and joyful celebration and pray that the Almighty Allah grants your heart’s desires.”
Chief Kolade encouraged Muslims to continue offering prayers for the peace, unity, and prosperity of Ilobu , Osun State and Nigeria as whole.
“Islam is a religion of peace, and if its adherents seeks the face of God Almighty in prayer with sincerity, He will surely answer. I therefore ask you to continue praying for long lasting peace and harmony in Ilobu Ifon and Erin Osun for the progress and development for the yet unborn generation. I believe with your prayers, and Understanding the three communities will overcome their current challenges.”
Asiwaju and Aare Musulumi of Ilobuland also emphasized the importance of embodying the values of Islam wherever Muslims find themselves. “Radiate the peace that Islam preaches and the love and care for the less privileged that Prophet Muhammad exemplified,” he urged.
