Manchester United have submitted their official retained list to the Premier League, confirming the departure of ten players as preparations begin for the 2025/26 campaign.

Among the most high-profile exits are Christian Eriksen, Jonny Evans, and Victor Lindelof, all of whom will leave Old Trafford following the expiration of their contracts this summer.

Christian Eriksen concluded his time with the Red Devils in style, scoring a penalty in United’s 2-0 victory over Aston Villa on the final day of the 2024/25 Premier League season. That match marked his 108th appearance for the club.

Defensive veterans Jonny Evans and Victor Lindelof also featured in the season finale, departing after making 241 and 284 appearances respectively in United colours. Both players played pivotal roles in the team’s backline over the years.

Goalkeeper Tom Heaton has also been named on the free transfer list. However, talks are ongoing between the player and the club over a potential contract extension.

In addition to the senior departures, Manchester United have announced the release of several academy players as part of a broader summer squad reshuffle.
