Portuguese football star Cristiano Ronaldo has extended his contract with Saudi Arabian side Al Nassr, committing to the club until 2027.
The announcement was made on Thursday, with the club sharing photos of Ronaldo holding a jersey emblazoned with “2027,” alongside Al Nassr Chairman, Abdullah Almajid.
Ronaldo, who also captains the team, expressed his enthusiasm in a message shared on his official X (formerly Twitter) account: “A new chapter begins. Same passion, same dream. Let’s make history together.”
Al Nassr lauded Ronaldo’s leadership and impact, emphasizing that the renewal marks a strong continuation of the partnership between one of the world’s most legendary footballers and a club fast emerging as a dominant force in Asian football.
The two-year extension is also seen as a major endorsement for the Saudi Pro League’s rising global profile, with Ronaldo remaining a cornerstone of the country’s ambitious sporting vision.
