US-based Nigerian comedian and content creator, Adesokan Emmanuel, popularly known as Shank Comics, has stirred online reactions after describing Nigeria as “too toxic” and “sickening.”
Shank, who recently relocated abroad, shared his sentiments on his X (formerly Twitter) handle, writing: “Nigeria is too too toxic man. Sickening.”
His remark sparked a flurry of reactions from social media users, with many criticizing him for criticizing the country so soon after moving overseas.
One user commented: “You never even reach six months for that side, you don dey enter us.”
In response, Shank reaffirmed his stance, saying: “No jor. I’m serious.”
His comment has since fueled debate about the challenges faced by young Nigerians and the motivations behind the growing wave of emigration
