President Bola Tinubu has congratulated his Chief of Staff, Olufemi Gbajabiamila, as he marks his 63rd birthday today, June 25.
In a statement signed by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, and titled “President Tinubu Greets Chief of Staff Gbajabiamila on His Birthday”, Tinubu expressed his appreciation for Gbajabiamila’s unwavering commitment to national development.
The President encouraged him to maintain his support in advancing the Renewed Hope Agenda, which seeks to build a more prosperous and economically vibrant Nigeria.
“President Tinubu encourages his Chief of Staff to continue supporting him in implementing the Renewed Hope Agenda to create a better, more economically viable, and more prosperous Nigeria,” the statement read.
A trained lawyer, Gbajabiamila served as Speaker of the House of Representatives between 2019 and 2023. He was first elected to the House in 2003 to represent Surulere Federal Constituency of Lagos State and went on to serve six consecutive terms, holding key roles including Minority Leader and Majority Leader.
Tinubu also acknowledged Gbajabiamila’s long-standing dedication to legislative excellence and his contributions to strengthening Nigeria’s democracy. He further praised his commitment to the development of Lagos State, especially his home constituency in Surulere.
The President wished Gbajabiamila good health and a long, fulfilling life.
