As part of recovery efforts, Governor Idris also approved the renovation of the District Head’s palace and upgraded the Government Day Secondary School in Zogirma to a boarding facility.

To support the renovation project, he pledged an additional ₦10 million to the District Head, Alhaji Mohammed Jambo Tele.

In appreciation, the district head commended the governor’s visit and support, describing it as a reassuring gesture to the community in their time of need.

Similarly, the Chairman of Bunza Local Government, Zayyanu Shehu Bunza, thanked the governor for his prompt response, stating that the intervention would help ease the suffering of affected families and offer them hope.

Meanwhile, the State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA) has begun the distribution of relief materials to victims. According to the agency’s chairman, Bello Yakubu, the items include 100 bags each of rice, sorghum, and millet, along with tomatoes and other basic food supplies.

Governor Idris concluded his visit by expressing gratitude to residents for their continued support of his administration, reaffirming his commitment to delivering effective governance and lasting development across Kebbi State.
