Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has extended warm congratulations to his Special Adviser on Education, Dr. Adetola Salau, on her appointment as Special Adviser on STEMM and Corporate Sector Engagement to the Honourable Minister of Education.
STEMM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, and Medicine.
In a statement issued on Tuesday by his Chief Press Secretary, Rafiu Ajakaye, the Governor described the appointment as a well-deserved recognition of Dr. Salau’s expertise, dedication, and sustained advocacy for STEM education in Nigeria and across Africa.
“We are proud of Dr. Salau’s valuable contributions to the transformation of the education sector in Kwara State, particularly in the advancement of STEM education,” Governor AbdulRazaq said.
“Her energy, professionalism, and collaborative spirit have left a lasting impact. As she moves on to serve at the federal level, we are confident she will bring the same passion and excellence to her new role.”
The Governor noted that while Dr. Salau is transitioning to a federal position, the state looks forward to continued collaboration with her in promoting educational innovation and capacity building.
A native of Kwara, Dr. Adetola Salau served as a cabinet-level official in the state government prior to her new federal appointment.
