The Osun State Government has partnered with 2 AG Nigeria Limited to launch an innovative lottery initiative aimed at empowering residents and boosting the state’s economy.

The initiative, tagged “Imole Millionaire Draw”, is set to produce no fewer than four millionaires every month, with the official launch scheduled for September 2025.

Speaking at a press conference held at the Ministry of Commerce, Industry, Cooperatives and Empowerment in Osogbo on Tuesday, the CEO of 2 AG Nigeria Ltd., Ladi Adebayo, revealed that the initiative will operate under the brand name “Osun Mega Draw”, with the full endorsement and licensing of Governor Ademola Adeleke.

Adebayo, a legal practitioner and indigene of Osun State, explained that the digitalized raffle draw is designed not only to tackle poverty but also to increase the state’s Internally Generated Revenue (IGR) while showcasing Osun’s development potential.

“We’re offering residents a chance to win big with just a N500 ticket. Each week, one lucky winner will take home N1 million, with other prizes ranging from N500,000 to N50,000. Altogether, we will be producing four millionaires monthly,” Adebayo said.

He noted that ticket purchases will be available through POS terminals operated by 500 agents across the state, via USSD, and through the website (http://www.osunmegadraw.ng). The draws will be televised live every Sunday from 9 to 10 pm and streamed on social media platforms to ensure transparency and public trust.

The draws are designed with strong digital security, responsible gaming flags, and real-time monitoring by government officials to prevent abuse or manipulation. Winners will be publicly celebrated, and their stories shared to inspire trust and participation.

Adebayo highlighted that the project aligns with a recent Supreme Court ruling granting states authority to issue lottery licenses, emphasizing the legitimacy and legality of the initiative.

“Once the winners start emerging, it will restore public confidence in lottery systems. This is not gambling—it’s structured, monitored, and guaranteed to change lives,” he added.
