Charles Idibia, known professionally as Charlybrave and brother to legendary Nigerian artist 2Baba (formerly 2Face Idibia), has publicly raised serious concerns about the singer’s relationship with politician Natasha Osawuru.
In an emotional open letter posted on Instagram, Charles praised 2Baba’s remarkable patience and kindness, likening him to a “modern-day Jesus” who quietly bears criticism and blame to protect those around him. Yet, he did not hesitate to accuse Natasha of being a toxic influence in 2Baba’s life.
Charles alleged that Natasha has manipulated 2Baba, isolating him from his personal and professional circles.
He detailed several troubling incidents, including unauthorized access to 2Baba’s devices, impersonation on social media, deletion and alteration of messages, interference in business matters, and efforts to sever ties with his Lagos management team.
In his message, Charles wrote “To my dear @official2baba… words cannot capture how much I love you.
To the gentle, kind soul who avoids conflict even at personal loss…
To the man I describe as a modern-day Jesus Christ of Nigeria because of your pure heart, I plead with you to wake up.
It’s not wrong to save yourself. You’ve gone from the frying pan into the fire.
A girlfriend who breaks into your phone to announce your divorce, impersonates you online, deletes your messages, convinces you to drop your Lagos management to be her accessory in Abuja this is no longer love, it’s captivity.”
Charles also accused Natasha of falsely presenting herself as 2Baba’s wife without any legal marriage, and of undermining his career and personal relationships under the guise of love.
The letter sparked a wave of concern across social media, with fans expressing sympathy and urging 2Baba to regain control of his life. Some reactions included.
