The Super Falcons were met with thunderous cheers as they arrived in Lagos following their historic win at the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON).
Fresh from being conferred with national honours Officer of the Order of the Niger (OON) by President Bola Tinubu on Monday, the champions touched down to a jubilant reception filled with chants, applause, and fanfare.
In celebration, the Lagos State Government has announced a victory parade to honour the team and showcase the coveted WAFCON trophy.
