The reunion comes about a year after Toyin publicly called for peace among herself, Funke Akindele, and Mercy Aigbe, in a heartfelt Instagram post appealing for unity within the industry.
In a heartwarming development, the two actresses have now followed each other back on Instagram, signaling a renewed bond. The friendly exchange became evident when Toyin dropped a playful compliment under one of Funke’s videos, writing, “Aunty Funke, you hot oooo.”
Funke responded with equal warmth and humor, calling Toyin a “troublemaker” in jest. “Toyin lol, onijogbon. Thanks dear,” she replied.
