Chioma Ifemeludike, the African Action Congress (AAC) governorship candidate for the upcoming Anambra State election on November 8, 2025, held a strategic town hall meeting with Anambra indigenes and community ambassadors in the United Kingdom.
In a statement released Saturday, Ifemeludike described the London event as an opportunity for meaningful dialogue about Anambra’s future. She emphasized the urgent need for a people-driven government anchored on inclusion, innovation, and sustainable development.
Reaffirming her commitment to a transformed Anambra, she said, “We must reposition Anambra as the golden child of Nigeria not just for its historical importance, but as a model of good governance, vibrant enterprise, and dignity for all residents.”
She urged members of the diaspora to back her vision, calling for collective action to build a state that puts people above profit and progress above propaganda.
“With support from Ndi Anambra at home and abroad, we can build a state that values action over empty promises,” she said.
During the event, she also unveiled a major campaign initiative the Football, Music, and Acting Talent Hunt Exercise, aimed at identifying and nurturing young talents across the state.
“Talent is a powerful force for empowerment and positive change. This programme shows our belief in investing in youth to create jobs and build a brighter future,” she added.
Ifemeludike concluded by reiterating that her campaign is focused on restoring Anambra’s dignity and liberating it from years of failed leadership.
