The Big Brother Naija Season 10 contestants, competing in the “10/10” edition, have lost their first wager challenge of the season. Announced by Big Brother himself, this loss means the housemates will face limited food and other restrictions for the week ahead.
Friday’s task required the housemates to stage an unmasking show themed around a ball, complete with dramatic costumes and performances. However, Big Brother, also known as Biggie, was left unimpressed.
“Such an unremarkable performance. Your presentation lacked imagination and substance. You have lost your wager,” Biggie declared.
He also warned them about slow responses and microphone violations during the task. Despite the build-up and the housemates’ efforts to showcase their talent, the performance fell short of expectations.
Before the task, Head of House Jason Jae encouraged everyone to stay focused and bring their best, but the final presentation was disorganized and lacked clear direction. Afterward, housemate Koyin attempted to rally the group for a self-assessment, but Biggie’s verdict was swift and stern.
Earlier, housemate Thelma had joked during her diary session that she would prepare a proper meal before the task, anticipating a loss.
“They’re not performing like winners. So, I’m making Egusi soup and hot Eba for the last good meal before the challenge,” she said.
With the competition heating up, the housemates will now face a tougher week with fewer privileges. MultiChoice, the show’s organizers, have announced that the overall winner will receive a N150 million grand prize, including cash and sponsor gifts.
