Cristiano Ronaldo etched his name deeper into football history on Saturday, becoming the first player ever to score 100 competitive goals for four different clubs. The milestone came during the Saudi Super Cup final at the Hong Kong Stadium, though his club Al Nassr eventually fell 5-3 on penalties to Al Ahli after a 2-2 draw in regulation time.

The 40-year-old forward reached the landmark with a first-half penalty, marking his 100th goal since joining Al Nassr in December 2022. This achievement adds to his remarkable tally of 450 goals for Real Madrid, 145 for Manchester United, and 101 for Juventus, taking him past the legendary trio of Isidro Lángara, Romário, and Neymar, who each managed 100 goals for three clubs.

Despite his scoring feats, Ronaldo is still chasing his first major trophy in Saudi Arabia. He already holds another record as the all-time leading international scorer, with 138 goals for Portugal.

In the final, Ronaldo’s opener was quickly canceled out by Franck Kessié, before Marcelo Brozovic restored Al Nassr’s lead late in the game. However, Brazilian defender Roger Ibañez forced penalties with a powerful header. Ronaldo converted his spot-kick in the shootout, but Abdullah Al-Khaibari’s miss proved costly as Al Ahli claimed the season’s first silverware.
