Actress Damilola Adegbite has stirred conversation online after posting a video questioning whether women can truly have male best friends without any romantic or physical attraction.
In the video, Adegbite asked women to be honest “Can you have a male best friend one you’re emotionally close to, find attractive, and who possibly likes you without anything ever happening? Not even a kiss? And keep it that way long-term?”
She further probed whether such a bond is ever truly platonic, hinting that even unspoken attraction could blur the lines.
“Isn’t that still a kind of attraction? Can you really say there’s nothing there unless he’s gay?”
The video quickly went viral, triggering mixed reactions, especially as Adegbite was once rumoured to be romantically linked to fellow actor Bolanle Ninolowo after his separation from his wife speculation she never confirmed.
