Chioma Adeleke, wife of Afrobeats superstar David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has opened up about the unwavering support her husband gives to her personal aspirations.
Speaking in a recent interview with Noire TV, which gained traction online on Saturday, Chioma affectionately known as Chef Chi shared how Davido has consistently encouraged her to pursue her goals, even amid life’s challenges.
“David really cares about my dreams,” she said. “I’ve gone through a lot over the years, but he always asks me, ‘Chi, beyond everything going on, what do you truly want to do?’ We talk, we plan, and we have some exciting things coming up in the next few months. He’s always intentional about my growth.”
The couple, who have been together since their university days, had a traditional wedding in Lagos in June 2024, following a private court ceremony in March 2023.
They are now preparing for their white wedding in Miami, Florida a celebration Davido has described as extravagant, with over $3.7 million already spent on the event.
Together, Davido and Chioma share three children, including twins born in October 2023. Their relationship has withstood both public scrutiny and personal tragedy, including the heartbreaking loss of their first son, Ifeanyi, in 2022.
