The Festival was graced with the presence of The Monarch of the community, the Ilobu of Ilobu, Oba Ashiru Olatoye Olaniyan, his chiefs, residents among others.
The festival, held on Friday at the palace of Olobu of Ilobu, began with a symbolic prayer by the traditionalists, who invoked blessings, peace, and prosperity to the land.
Speaking with our correspondent, Chief Adegoke Ogunsola, the Otun Jagun of Ilobu explained that the festival was annually, as the king would offer prayers on Yam , before the community consumes it.
