Acclaimed Afrobeats star Tiwa Savage created a heartwarming moment at her London concert on Friday, when her 10-year-old son, Jamil, joined her on stage for a special performance of “On The Low.”
The surprise came during the exclusive, free album-release event at KOKO in London, part of the promotion for Tiwa’s new project, This One Is Personal. The venue, packed with excited fans, erupted into cheers when Jamil appeared, joining his mother on stage.
Taking over Skepta’s rap verse, Jamil delivered his lines with a mix of nervousness and confidence, impressing the crowd with his stage presence. Despite the short performance, it was hailed as a truly priceless moment.
Tiwa, who has been promoting the show as a special “gift to fans,” had earlier shared on social media that the event was free because, as she put it, “this one is personal.”
The London show came shortly after Tiwa shared glimpses of her trip to Tokyo, where she explored the city alongside Jamil. Fans have been treated to snippets of her travel adventures, from tea ceremonies to scenic garden strolls.
