Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo is celebrating a new chapter in her life as a grandmother, following the birth of her grandson in Canada.
Her daughter, Priscilla Ojo, and Tanzanian music star Juma Jux, welcomed their first child, a baby boy named Rakeem Ayomide Mkambala.
Iyabo Ojo confirmed the joyful news via her social media platforms on Sunday, expressing immense gratitude for the safe delivery of both mother and child.
Priscilla and Juma, who tied the knot earlier this year in a series of ceremonies held between February and May, first announced their pregnancy in July 2025.
Just days ago, they hosted a blue-themed gender reveal party, where they publicly revealed they were expecting a boy.
The announcement has drawn warm congratulations from fans, colleagues, and celebrities across Nigeria and Tanzania, celebrating the couple’s milestone.
Priscilla, a Nigerian influencer and entrepreneur, and Juma Jux, one of East Africa’s top musical acts, have been in the public spotlight since confirming their relationship in 2024. Their union has since become one of the most talked-about celebrity marriages of the year.
According to family sources, both mother and child are healthy, and the families are overjoyed.
