Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola is set to trim his squad, with at least six players expected to leave the Etihad this summer.

According to Goal, those on the potential exit list include goalkeeper Ederson, defender Nathan Ake, youngster Joshua Wilson-Esbrand, Argentine prodigy Claudio Echeverri, midfielder Kalvin Phillips, and Brazilian winger Savinho.

Despite City’s emphatic 4-0 win over Wolves in their Premier League opener, Guardiola admitted concerns about having an “overloaded squad.”

Ederson was notably absent from the matchday squad amid advanced talks with Turkish giants Galatasaray, while Savinho was also left out as Tottenham continue to push for his signature.

Phillips, who has endured loan spells at Ipswich Town and West Ham, looks set for a permanent move away, while Ake, Wilson-Esbrand, and teenager Echeverri are also considered surplus to requirements as Guardiola refines his squad for the new campaign.
