The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has announced that its results portal, www.waecdirect.org, is temporarily down due to technical issues. However, the Council has assured the public that the portal will be restored within the next 24 hours.
This update was shared on WAEC’s official website and confirmed via text message by the Council’s Head of Public Affairs, Moyosola Adesina.
The statement reads “WAEC hereby informs the general public that the result checker portal, www.waecdirect.org, is temporarily shut down due to technical issues.
However, the Council is working assiduously to ensure that candidates can access their results in the next 24 hours.
We apologise for any inconvenience this might have caused you.”
