Former governorship candidate of the People’s Redemption Party (PRP) in Osun State, Engr. Busuyi Ayowole has revealed that his return to political arena is informed by his desire to contribute to the betterment of his state.
InsightMedia reported that Ayowole joined the African Action Congress, AAC, last week, making his return to Osun politics.
According to a statement by his media aide, Ilesanmi Iyanu, the Iperindo-born engineer’s determination and commitment to excellence are behind his latest move.
Ilesanmi said, “This marks Engr. Ayowole’s first political declaration since August 2022, signifying a fresh political start inspired by the urgent need for accountability and sustainable development in Osun State and Nigeria.
“Engr. Ayowole stresses that since August 2022, he has not been affiliated with any political party or group. His return to the political arena guided exclusively by his renewed vision to contribute honestly and strategically to the betterment of his states and nation.
“Considering recent rumors and unfounded allegations connected to past political affiliations, Engr. Ayowole categorically denies
any involvement in receiving foreign donations during his 2022 campaign.”
He further refuted claims that he has ever accepted financial incentives from any political candidate, group, or party in his political journey.

ignored, Engr. Ayowole believes that a clear and public atfirmation of his record i G necessary to preserve the trust of his supporters and the general public. Legal recourse is being considered to ensure retraction and accountability from those responsible.”
Ayowole also named youth activist, Sodiq Raufu as his special assistant on communications.
