A leading governorship aspirant under the platform of the All Progressives Congress in Osun State, Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji has revealed that his tour of all of local government has equipped him with relevant information to develop the state if elected in August 2026.
Oyebamiji, who is the Managing Director of the National Inland Waterways Authority, made this known on Monday during a parley with journalists in Osogbo.
He said his campaign train has visited every local government, talked to people and gather firsthand information about infrastructural decay and the aspirations of the people.
“I have moved around and I have seen that we have infrastructural deficit in Osun. I’m ready to face the challenge headlong,” Oyebamiji said.
Speaking on his hope to clinch the APC ticket, the Fromer Finance Commissioner expressed his delight over the reception from the party members, declaring that APC faithful have shown love towards him.
“I’m encouraged by the enthusiasm of our people and their determination to take Osun government from the PDP and return it to the APC.
“The party members have shown that they love AMBO and they want AMBO. We won’t disappoint them. We’ll work hard to justify their confidence and belief in us.”
