Veteran musician and activist, Charles Chukwuemeka Oputa, popularly known as Charly Boy, has publicly announced that he is on the lookout for a wife for his 46-year-old son.
Sharing the news on X (formerly Twitter) on Friday, Charly Boy revealed that his son holds a master’s degree, stands 5ft 11ins tall, and was previously married but is now divorced. He added that his son seems to have developed a fear of women since the breakup.
Charly Boy explained that he is specifically searching for a woman from a respectable family with humble beginnings, emphasizing that only genuine university graduates should indicate interest.
“My people, I’m still searching for a wife for my son. He has married once and is now divorced. It seems he’s afraid of women. If you’re from a good home with humble beginnings, send me a DM. He’s a master’s degree holder, 46 years old, 5ft 11ins, and very humble. If you’re not a real graduate, don’t bother. I want to tie him to Nigeria,” he wrote.
He further disclosed that his son will be visiting Nigeria next month, expressing hopes that marriage will help strengthen his son’s connection to the country.
