Afrobeats sensation Tiwa Savage has spoken openly about her plans to grow her family, expressing a strong wish to have more sons.
In a recent conversation with American podcaster Joe Budden, the award-winning singer revealed she is no longer freezing her eggs and is now actively considering having more children.
“I want more children especially boys. I have actually done egg freezing. I’m just preparing. Like I said, I am not young. I’m thinking about my age and want to get my eggs while they are still very healthy,” she explained.
Tiwa, who is already a mother, previously opted for egg freezing to preserve her chances of conceiving.
The ‘Somebody’s Son’ hitmaker began her music career as a backup vocalist for global stars including George Michael and Mary J. Blige before returning to Nigeria to launch her solo career.
She shot to fame in the early 2010s with hits such as Kele Kele Love and Eminado, becoming one of the most influential female voices in Afrobeats. Over the years, she has also been open about her life as a single mother and the challenges that come with it.
